My application need to check for printer status.
Normally, we sent command to the printer using
?? command but how do we get reply from the printer
LPT port ?

I tried to use FOPEN() function, but didn't get it to work
whileas MScommunication ActiveX is meant for serial port only.

Please kindly advise me on this area of how to get reply from the
printer LPT port. Thank in advance
