Well, not quite I think.

Men wrote it under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit.

Inspiration in this case as defined "God breathed".

If I transcribed what you wanted me to write I could then assert that the words I wrote were words YOU wanted written, or were, in fact, your words.

Interpretation would not be a part of the original writings as many of the original writers did not understand what they were writing about. Daniel had this type of experience for example.

IOW, IMO it is not true to assume that because God used human instruments that the words written by those human instruments have less authority than, say, God writing the 10 commandments in stone with His finger. Just as I do not accept something as having divine authority simply on the basis of someone's assertions I also do not arbitrarily discard that which has stood the test of time. IOW, as I suggested before one should do their research and think.
