Just to throw in my loonie worth of information. Download and try each one out and don't forget about Visual Promatrix. I have just completed 15 days worth of testing on it and found it quite capable and usuable. My major complaint is that views and client/server are not integrated into the product. Otherwise it is great. The December issue of Foxpro Advisor has a review of VPM.

I will be trying out VFE in January.
