Well, whatta ya know. I went down the list in Class browser until one of the problem children actually asked of Office 2k CD and it did it's thing, too. Now everything works.

Was that problem machine at your site running Win 2k Pro? Too bad the "doing of it's thing" didn't tell me what thing it was doing...
