Hi Nafees. VFP definitely allows for finer control over the sequence of textbox events than any other front end language I know of (VB included). (Of course, some argue that this is not a good thing because it makes it more confusing .. on the other hand, when you really really really need such fine control, it's great to have it.)
But, I am not sure this really has to do with database functions (?).
Having said that, your point stands -- VFP integrates much more easily with (its own) database.
