Nafees;

I use a number of development tools including VB and VFP. It could be argumentative however Visual FoxPro is a data centric language – it was designed to do one thing and it does it well. Visual Basic on the other hand is more like a Swiss Army Knife – it can do many things. When it comes to handling data and strings VFP is the winner. With a commercial framework development in VFP takes a fraction of the time and effort as it does with VB.

Every tool has a use - some tools are better than others depending upon what you want to do. :)
