Craig;

From a Roman Catholic perspective God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are separate and equal but yet they are one. This sounds like what you are expressing. The words may be different but the meaning seems to be the same.

>The LDS belief makes it easy. God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate beings with one purpose.

>>I agree! Very interesting!

>>The final questions asked should include the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit – to include the Blessed Trinity. Questioning the duality of God is not enough. Even though this adds to the complexity of the issue it is a more accurate viewpoint.

>>Some months ago I mentioned reading the back of the Catholic Bible where definitions are given. The definition of the Blessed Trinity went on paragraph after paragraph. The explanation became very involved and most complex. After suffering through at least 10 paragraphs of 4 point type the author ended thusly: “Nevertheless it is impossible for created intelligence to understand the Blessed Trinity”.
>>
>>My first thought was, “Why did the author try”? My second thought, “Why did I read this”? All this in my quest for truth and understanding! :)
