Is this memo for editing or for displaying? If the later, put (Table.Field) in parenthesis. If the former, you still can use this idea, but use your own textbox, which would fire Edit Memo command on Double Click and will replace your control source with the new memo content.

The other idea would be to play with DynamicControl...
