In the 1970s movie "Oh God", Paul Sorvino played a preacher. In one scene he's preaching to a stadium full of people. He stretches out his arms, fingers filled with jewel encrusted gold rings and with a southern accent (and he draws this out as many of today's TV preachers so) says "God...wants you... to give your money... to me".
