>>I've heard a few different terms used to describe how the Bible (and the Koran) was written too. But, I won't repeat them here because I don't want to take the topic in that direction. Just one question- are we of God or is God of us? Or are we made in God’s image or he made in ours?

>Think about it for a moment. the word 'god' is a title, not a name. Let's say that you know a fellow by the name of John Smith, an appellate judge. 'Judge' would be his title and John his first name. 'God' is the master passion of one's life. That may or may not be the God of the Bible but of one's own construction. But.. In all case we become like the god we worship.

Doug;

I have heard people say, "In the name of God" but never, "In the title of God"!
