Hi Evan, I would just add the following (see inline comments):

>Cost:
>VFP requires no per-seat or per-server licensing
>Oracle and DB2 require one or the other

>Security:
>VFP has little or no security on its data. You won't be able to stop someone who knows VFP from getting to it.
>Oracle and DB2 each have (fairly) robust security models, depending on the platform under which they are deployed

VFP tables can be encrypted (does not prevent access only the viewing of the accessed data) using cryptor or netlib. However, I THINK (not sure) that both require per seat or per server licenses, are a third part package, and hence additional costs are involved. Yet this is a definite possibility for those customers that require additional security on their data.

Scalability:
When a secure backend or larger data stores are required, you can employ other backend options (instead of Oracle or SQL) such as Advantage Database Server. VFP can be used as the frontend and you have many options for the backend depending on your requirements. Or you can use VFP as the frontend for Oracle or SQL. Only the backend need change when requirements demand it.

>Oracle and DB2, since they are a datastore rather than a development platform, do not have intrinsic OOP capability
>(you're really comparing apples to oranges here)

>When properly designed and utilized, all have excellent reliability -- you'll get lots of "discussion" on this one from all sides about "one is more reliable than the other", but I'll stand by that first statement. Each product has their strengths and drawbacks on this issue, IMHO.

>>The path we want to go is Web-Driven applications or Citrix Client based applications.
>>Have in consideration, Cost, Security, OOP, Reliability, Future & Product Market Path.
