>Can't recollect too many companies complaining when their full product name, including company name, was threatened to be included within other products. Most pay to make this happen! Even in questionable spots.

An interesting aside here is that the Girl Scouts of the USA are VERY picky about their logo and trademarked phrases. On my troop's web page, I cannot use the GS logo, the names "Girl Scouts," "Brownie Girl Scouts," "Junior Girl Scouts," "Girl Scout Cookies," or any pictures or names of any badges without permission (and I haven't gotten permission yet...they are deluged with email for permission). They can, and do, go after volunteer leaders sharing awesome amounts of terrific information for violating trademark and copyright infringement by using the words "Girl Scouts" or a picture of the logo.

They have to vigorously pursue the GS troop sites as well as those that infringe in a negative manner (like one t-shirt company that had a horrible use of the logo)--to have the negative infringement stick, they have to pursue all infringement (lest they be discriminatory).

I wish there were some other way...
