I am also having problems with Novell lately, the last ocation, the application was trying to query an already opened table, but the error
that came up was 'error reading file', I opened another session of vfp6.0 and was able to run the same query with no problems, having at the same time
two sessions one with the error and the other one just to open those two tables in order to run the query, what is strange here is that I was able to open the tables in exclusive mode in the debug session, even if the application suppose to have opened them in shared mode. I was able to run the same query in the original session where the error happened, and run manually the query, and the error came up again, then I used the command SET to browse the tables from them and got an infinite loop ( may be was looping all the table?, it holds more than 60K records )

How/what did you do to fix the problem?
