It was not about any Office stuff this time - it was the two additional VFP files which make HTML help work. On one machine it had found the setup somewhere so it just came up, we clicked OK and it found the setup directory and everything went fine, until the next uninstall of the app. On the other machine it didn't complain at all, but also the help wasn't working in VFP anymore. Quirky, in the least.

The trouble with the WI and ISLE is that it's basically a shell around a script generator, and one can never be sure whether the script has got all the parameters in it or not. Marking a couple of files as "in use by other apps, don't uninstall without asking" should be simple, but it's obviously not included in this spayed version.

>Also - I can't get ISLE to run under win 2k pro -

2k normal (or whatever they named it) here, it's just slow but it works. What doesn't work - the setups you create or ISLE itself? I've had trouble with XP, because in the requirements' section I wanted to exclude Windows ME (having heard all the trouble people reported here), but then it checked for the list of allowed OSes, and XP wasn't on the list, so I had to turn the OS checking off. Maybe you have the OS checking turned on, and it doesn't recognize 2k pro?

I'll probably wait for another ten years and sell mine to the museum which offers the best price. It's a series 1 model, with a 5-digit serial number (and there were more than a million of these). I do keep an emulator on my disk at all times :)
