The "ATI7" command returned "255 OK". What does 255 mean?
Ooops.. I got my modem model mixed up!... it's a CNET C56K Data/Fax Modem (that's what it says in the CD). I had the manual in it printed out but found no "AT#" commands in it.
The 'More Info...' dialog from the Modem Properties form revealed the ff: (exactly as shown)
ATI3 SoftK56V_B2.1_V2.14.12
ATI4 Generic SoftK56 Data,Fax,Voice,Speake...
ATI5 181
ATI6 SoftK56
ATI6 CModem Version 11
ATI6 Rksample Version 341
ATI7 255
AT+FCLA... 0,1,8,80
Thanks as always =)
