Hi folks,

I am attempting to create a small utility to test port/protocol connectivity for vpn connections.

Often client to server/firewall vpn using IPSec or PPTP can be set up correctly at either end, but along the way, perhaps the ISP or xDSL router may be blocking the required endpoints.

Due to the non standard protocols required for some of the variances such as Protocol 47 & 50, does anyone know how to code those into VB/VFP? The winsock control is limited only to TCP and UDP. Are there other controls available for this?

Or... does anyone know of something already in existence!

Thanks for your assistance

John
