>Hi Jerry,

It seem to address the issue, but their example of how to run a virtual host with SSL disabled do not match the default Redhat Linux httpd.conf very closely. I think I'm going to go for the hardware fix I mentioned earlier.

Also, are there SSL option available if I recompiled the 7.3 source for httpd or apache daemons. Also, apache version 2.00 under winndows allow extensive redirection or reconfiguration of the cleint's entered URL, so if I installed apache 2.0 I could convert http to https. But their could be some dependency problems between apache 1.24 and apache 2.0, and I really want to keep version 7.3 intact. Besides, the SSL issue is likely to affect postgres and other apps, so the hardware fix is the way I'm going to go. If I discover a software fix later, I can alway disassemble the complexity I'm about to add.

Good luck!
I've never compiled the Apache kernel.
Does it have an extensive .config file, like the Linux kernel, that you edit to set feature?
