I'm not using vfp6 any longer, only vfp7. I just want to clean up the vfp6 junk that's no longer used, as a matter of a good habit of cleaning up messes we make. But if there's no way to do it silently, I guess I'll just forget it and leave vfp6 runtimes and files on the machines.

>I would use ISX with vfp6. I was able to do everything I could do with the old VFP setup and I could control the silent install/uninstall options the way I wanted to. ISX is probably better integrated with the OS too...
>>Yes, for vfp6 I was using the old built-in setup. Now I use ISX for vfp7. I'm trying to clean up the old vfp6 runtimes and files by an SMS call that will run silently.

>>>So you're using the VFP 6 setup, not InstallShield, right?
>>>>Is there any such beast? I've tried a number of switches, like /QT /U, but I always get the dialog Add/Remove, Reinstall, or Remove All. I want to Remove All silently without any dialog. This is an old-fashioned vfp6 setup. Any ideas?
