Hi Robert,

it's possible to create COM objects in Python, and variables in Python are variants, so it's likely to work. Mark Hammond, who works with Activestate, has done the most work in this area. They publish ActivePython and Visual Python, the latter a .NET language. Using Visual Python you can create .NET programs in Python, so presumeably it would be possible to write a COM server that way also.

I'm not sure what the advantage would be, but let us know if it works. <s>
