Hi Dennis,

Ouch!.. that would mean replacing ALL 120 of them!... client got them on a lease agreement from the local HP dealer... they are all installed in HP P4 machines... thats the problem here...

If you are unable to find product documentation for your specifc modem, I would call that unsuitable. Can your client's HP dealer provide it? Can you provide an exact model number?

What modem brands would you recommend? Do you mean to say the modem we have here can't handle phone conversion recording?

Your modem appears to be a Rockwell/Conextant spinoff of sorts. It appears to have voice capabilities. It should work as I have shown you. Here are a few links that may help:

http://www.conexant.com/customer/md_supportlinks.html
http://users.michweb.net/~kevin/pdf/Rockwell56kSoft.pdf

The last is a must have!
Did you try the command sequences I gave you in some communication software outside of VFP as I suggested? Sorry to keep repeating this, but I am not convinced that you are getting the full picture here :>)
