Monte,
We just hired a new programmer who is not familiar with VFP. We purchased the seven tape video series from Keystone and VFP for Dummies for her to learn from.
So far the tapes have been excellent (I've learned a thing or two from them myself!), but the book seems to be geared more for "using" VFP rather than "developing with" VFP. However, having the book first allowed her to become familiar enough with the VFP interface to maximize her learning from the tapes.
Once she started the tapes, she says she has also gained alot from the MAstering VFP Cd-Rom. HTH
