Hi all,
Our potential client wants us to fix a program written by a programmer who has gone out of business. (A familiar story.)
The program appears to be written in VFP6 (it is distributed with the VFP6 runtime files).
When I attempt to Split it using Refox 8.x, it says "
... nothing to split!" followed by "Split & Decompile of completed."
This appears to mean that Refox doesn't recognize it as a FoxPro executable. It didn't ask me for a Refox branding password.
Perhaps some other third-party post-compilation encryptor was used.
What other copy-protection programs are there for VFP? What about copy-protection programs which are designed to be independent of the programming language the EXE was developed in?
