Perhaps this was translated wrong.
There IS NO OOP weakness as compared with VFP, in fact, VFP is an OOP language.
If you are comparing VB6 with VFP then as Thomas Whiteley says - VB is object based.
The big things I rely on in VFP and C++ and smalltalk and those other OOP programming languages that I use is:
Polymorphism, Inheritance, and Encapuslation.
I can't get there with VB - the real way to make inheritance work in vb6 and below is/was to copy/paste code blocks.

BUT - in you want a GOOD VFP-centric discussion of OOP - please look at the DFW VFP Users Group Web Site - we have some papers there from a lecturer - Andy Kramek.
