I have a form based on CBizObjMaintenanceForm. I added 2 more pages. On the first page is my primary business object. On the third page is a child business object of the primary in page 1. I have a parameterized view on page 3. This populates the gridlist in my clistobjedit on page 3.

If I select a record in page 1 and click on page 3, the result of the child business object (also in page 3)is displayed on this page. However, If the result of the child business object is empty and I click back to page 1, then click page 3 again, and click page 1, an "Application Message" with a message box is prompting me if I want to save the changes first. If I click Yes, a program error is returned because it cannot add an empty row.

Does this behavior of CBizObjMaintenanceForm have something to do with the discussion on page 207 of the DEVGUIDE document? This page says that "Clicking on any other pages automatically places you in edit mode… unless there are no records in the list. In this case, the form automatically creates a new record." Well, I tried to debug the codes but my breakpoints are not hit. Why is the application trying to save an "unchanged" child business object and besides, it's empty.
