Hi Everyone...

I am currently using ISEx... as with VFP7. I miss the old setup wizard... but alas - it is gone. So, now I have figured out (I thought) the ISEx, and now I am getting some peculiar behaviours:

1) During the setup on a clean box, I sometimes, again, sometimes get this:
Error 1406: Coult not writhe value VersionMajor to key
...\(43D77E29-6275-11D6-941F-00C0F056FD1D).
Verify that you have suffiecient access to that key, or
contact your support personnel.
So of course, they contact me... but - this is really weird, on ignore, the error disappears... and the program runs fine! What is this error? and how do I kill it so it goes away forever?

2) I am sometimes getting this error on W2K/W98 machines:
A required .DLL file, MSVCR70T.DLL was not found.
Whoops, I remember when you had to put this file in the ol' setup wiz in the 'old days'. So, I checked, and hey, the file is there!

2a) Maybe, I forgot to tell the ISEx to use it... so, I ran regsvr32 to get it in the registry.... the result:
...cannot find entry to open.... blah blah blah
That didn't work... so I checked for the DLL in the registry, and found it there. But still the program will not work runtime.

2b) Hey, sometimes the regserver seems to work... but then I run the program and get:
LoadLibrary('msvcr70.dll') failed. GetLasError returns 0x00000485.
Now I am really confused...

I still 'young' on the ISEx, so maybe I have done something wrong. Should I get the whole version? Will that help? Why is blue so blue? :-)

TIA
