I've just checked one application, where I use multiselect listboxes, and Ctrl+Click works fine, e.g. if there are selections, if you press Ctrl, you can select new items without loosing previous selections.
I believe, I have some code in ListBox when and click events, don't know, if they are relevant here. Send me an e-mail to my work address (click on envelope), I will check more closely tomorrow at work.
If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
