ActiveX controls in VFP
Hi Dennis,
>>Did you try the command sequences I gave you in some communication software outside of VFP as I suggested? Sorry to keep repeating this, but I am not convinced that you are getting the full picture here :>)

No far end modem needed, or I have completely missed the boat as far as what I understood the goal of your application. Start "hypertrm.exe" from the Run box, Cancel when it asks to select an icon. You are now in terminal mode. Select the Properties button in the Toolbar and check your modem setup. Type "AT" and Enter in the command window. IF "OK" response, start your testing. Under Transfer menu (exactly where I would have put the option :>), you can capture your session to a file or to printer. Once you get the sequence down that reflects how you would like your app to operate, you now have a script that you can take into VFP to mimic the behavior.
