>>>>Managing and recovering from data collisions is strictly a Network Administration issue. When developing network or multiuser applications, it is absolutely NO concern of the developer how packets of data are handled by the network, regardless of what type of network you're using. If you are losing data or experiencing application problems due to data collisions, then your network administrators should either be tap dancing like mad to fix it, or packing their bags and cleaning out their desks. >>ROFL... ex-issues actually. Have seen 2 network administrations come and go since I started with my employer 16 months ago. (evil grin) I aint fessing up who it was that, uhhhh... lets say "made the powers that be see the light" ;D)

>If your company affiliation was not listed at the top of this reply, it would still be obvious you work for no government in this country. The guvment just elevates staff to their level of incompetency. No one around here gets fired unless they get convicted of a felony. :(

I know how that is... I did like 6 years of Government subcontracting and had to put up with never-ending network problems being blamed on everybody *BUT* the ones getting the fat payroll to support it. (thus my sensitivity ;) ) I guess its a trade-off... I now put up with the non-stop Access vs. FoxPro battle plus relating all my work effort to "how many pagers/cell phones is it gonna help sell" in lieu of the old b.s. of "point the finger and keep on smiling all the way to the bank" game. (big chuckle) The morale of the story here is...

Hell hath no Fury like the Rox-app scorned by network traffic (LOL)
