We are in the process of doing this now. We are developing a C++ program that will be used for our EDI dental claims (we are in group benefits) but we don't want to re-write all the claim adjudication logic in C++, so we are re-using the code in an OLE server (ActiveX server I guess?). The C++ program will be responsible for communications and VFP will be responsible for the rest. This will allow us to access the VFP data through VFP code instead of ODBC (which we are hoping will be faster) and, of course, we can re-use the adjudication routines.
Take care,
Joe
