Thanks for the link. I actually remembered it and went to Rick's site before reading your replies. I downloaded his wwXML library and used the CursortoADOXML().
It produced an XML similar to what I need, however, the data type definitions created are not what I was expecting. If you notice in my first message, data types included "r6", "i8" and "int" to name a few. I believe that these represent "real" and "integer" values. Rick's results say "number" for both and this causes some glitches with the grid object that I am trying to use with the recordset.
