Evan,

Sorry for not giving enough precise information.

In addition to comments below,
1. You're allowed to make one bet before the game. You're not allowed
to change the bet during the game.
2. You say stop after you examined the value of the newly flipped card.

I will use a new deck before each game and shuffle the cards before the
game starts to ensure the cards are in random order. I will not shuffle
the cards during a game.

You have to guess whether the last flipped card has the highest value in
the whole deck.

I'm not telling you any information about the range. I will only tell you
if you guessed right or not.

I didn't say the number of cards wouldn't affect the odds.
I won't shuttle the cards during a game.

Whether I know the range is not relevant :->. You may assume that we can ask
an impartial judge whether you chose the highest valued card.

You're describing a different game but I can really make the game more
difficult for you by using non-integer values on cards to ensure you never
know the total of the values of the cards.

Would you still refuse to play my game?
