Any reference to Gartner and VFP is well over 6 years ago, and Gartner has not said anything negative about VFP since then - I talked to them late last year too, we keep them educated on significant VFP news and will continue to do so. I'm not sure I understand the reference of obsolete relative to VFP. Something would only be obsolete if it was not available for sale anymore, or even if it is not used anymore. Is VFP 5 obsolete, or even FoxPro 2.6? I have recently met people still using FoxBase, they would contend FoxBase is not obsolete. If something is not evolving doesn't mean it is obsolete. As long as you can obtain and use something, it is not obsolete. VFP is certainly not obsolete.
