Hi!

ODBC does not support such thing as "empty" date or datetime field. This thing exists only in VFP, and when data is passed through ODBC or something else, most likely empty date values will be replaced by the minimum date value (as in your case).

In most cases it is recommended to replace use of empty date value to NULL value.
