All:

I just compiled my application using VFP7. Clients receive two directories, one for all the tables and one for the executable and related files. I do not register anything on the clients system, rather keep the runtime files in the directory that contains the executable, say, DirA. I currently have the following files in this directory:

vfp7t.dll
vfp7r.dll
vfp7renu.dll
vfp7rrus.dll
vfp7rfa.dll
vfp7rkor.dll
vfp7resn.dll
vfp7rdeu.dll
vfp7rcht.dll
vfp7rcsy.dll
vfp7rchs.dll

When I tested the application on a machine that had VFP 7 installed, everything worked fine. When I did the same on an machine running windows XP home and Windows 98, I got the following message when I clicked the destop short for the executable:

On the Windows 98 machine - "MSVCR.dll was not found"

On the XP machine, I tried regsvr32 c:\windows\...path for MSVCR70, I got the following message.

c:\windows\system\urttemp\msvcr.dll was loaded, but the DLLRegisterServer entery point was not found.  This dll cannot be registered.

Any suggestion on what I should do? Should I just add the MSVCR70.dll to DirA (which containes the executable)?
