Crystal Reports
Which just begs for a real installer like Installshield where you can get merge files already created to make sure all files get properly installed. Plus you can always install ALL of the CR DLL's, which shouldn't be a problem unless you are seriously low on disk space, but running low on disk space causes enough other wierdness with Win9x that you shoul make sure the destination computer has plenty of space anyway.
>The one thing I found seriously frustrating about the CR runtime help file is that it completely ignores the fact that most of their DLL's have other dependencies. So, they neglect to tell you important things like the order DLL's should be registered, other DLL's that still need to be installed (eg. the ATL merge module), etc. That, and for some reason they decided it was a good idea to sprinkle DLL's all over the place, instead of one common folder. It makes registering Crystal correctly a real pain in the butt...
