Hi Sergey,

Found the problem ... apparently there are some "lock" files that came with the data we were converting. The ODBC driver was sending back a cryptic message similar to "The directory is controlled by other .Net file" ... and then got a similar message from Paradox itself, followed by a message about "locks". I removed the Paradox.lck and PdoxUsrs.lck files ... and connections went through.
