Thanks very much for the offer, but I already know about these programs and how to run a regular Windows app as a service. I just wondered how I could get a COM+ application running at system startup, without having to start it with an application that runs as a service. I've already heard here that it should be possible. Or maybe I've misunderstood something and this can only be done with COM+ 1.5 which is shipped with XP.
