I've exported a VFP COM+ application (the server part without UserIDs/role information) in the MMC on a W2K server and tried to install the generated MSI file on the server and on a WIN XP client. The error message says: "Error registering COM+ Application. Contact your support personnel". Nice message, isn't it <g>? Does anyone have a clue what I could do to make this work?

I've already unregistered the component with regsvr32 /u before trying to install it from the MSI and installed the latest hotfix for COM+ but that didn't help. The server is running W2KSP2.

Update: Ok, in the meantime I've found out, that I have to use the MMC to import the exported application. I thought, I could simply start the MSI file and let Windows Installer do the work. Does anyone know if this should be possible?
