As said before I suspect from a define in form's include file or some property that has 'thisformset' in it, not the table or index itself.

Just before seek() I'd put these to check :

Activate screen
? '.Value',.Value
? 'Alias', "AliasAsIsInSeekExpression"
? 'Tag', "TagAsIsInSeekExpression"
