I’ve religiously and successfully installed the “Windows Installer” updates:

However, when I double click on the VFPODBC.MSI file downloaded from the VFP Microsoft website, I still get the error mentioned on my previous message.

I wonder if this is happening because I installed MSDE and contains some data access components.

Any hints are welcome.

>I would try to install the latest version of WIndows Installer and than try ODBC installation again. See OFF2000: How to Obtain and Download the Latest Version of Windows Installer mskb #Q305496.
