There are several ways, although I don't think there is an official way.
1) Check the version of file "C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\ado\msado15.dll".
2) Check the registry key "HKey_Local_Machine\Software\Microsoft\DataAccess\FullInstallVer".
3) Download Component Checker from
www.microsoft.com/data#3 is the best if you want to manually check your version.
I've seen the most recommendations for #1 if you need to check programmatically.
