After switching to VFP 7, some machines where the compiled application is working started to have problems with the ComboBox incremental search.

It acts as if the _DoubleClick variable (which is set to 2 at application startup) got altered somehow not giving enough time to type up to three or four characters.

This behavior was corrected on one of the machines by setting the keyboard delay o 2 seconds also.

Although the solution seems to be found, I’d like to hear other opinions and advises about it since all we did was to compile the application with VFP7 SP1, and I think there should be a way to solve it via FoxPro without having to use the control panel or any other way to set the keyboard.
