Some ideas:
1.- The form than you have made for look the records, chnge its size to make it has a list than can be set at the left or right side of the other form and set the property AlwaysonTop = .T., so you don't have to show , just move the record pointer on the grid.

2.- If on your input form you have a reference to the first form, do this:
On the LostFocus of the control put:
Thisform.GridForm.Allwaysontop = .T.
