I am sure you can do graphs with Excel Automation - no extra cost if you assume all users have Excel installed.
I didn't do this yet, but I will have to do it soon. Rather than generating the graph, I have been considering using a template with the ready-made graph, and only filling in the relevant cells through Automation.
