The only time I've seen 'Form-Flicker' like this was when I was missing a READ EVENTS command. How are the forms presented; are they both on-screen at the same time with one behind the other? Are you using Formsets?

But after trying all combinations of DODEFAULT() and NODEFAULT in event frmDataEntry.txtLastName.LostFocus(), before and after having it call frmDuplicates.Show(), the result is still the same: my second form displays briefly, then focus returns to the first form.
