MDAC 2.6 and 2.7 don't come with the FoxPro ODBC driver. You need to go to Microsoft's web site and download the install for the driver: http://msdn.microsoft.com/vfoxpro/downloads/odbc.asp

>When I try to create a system DSN, the screen listing the available drivers shows version 1.00.02.00 date 8/24/2001 for VFP driver.

>On my opinion, the version of VFP driver for MDAC 2.6 appears to be newer (except for the date) than the one for MDAC 2.7 RTM.
>
>Since every time I try to create a new DSN a screen appears telling me that I need to install the current version of the Visual FoxProp ODBC driver, could it be that it is checking the version number regardless of the date?
