I was encountering problems with Win2000 machines when it worked fine with Win98. With Tamar's advice, i added a WAIT WINDOW to slow down the process and it began to work on Win2000 machines. See msg #659271.

But.... i was getting different error msgs than you. I assume u have IF FILEs in the code and quotes around file name if foldernames have spaces in them.
