Thank you for the suggestion but it did not work.
I deleted the key, cd to the PROJMGR directory, do startmm and then do main. The same error occured. I checked the key using REGEDIT and it was not there although one level up was (OAK LEAF ...).
I then followed the instructions in the dev guide:
CD to the ProjMgr directory
Enter DO STARTMM in the VFP Command Window
Modify the ProjMgr project by entering MODI PROJ PROJMGR in the Command Window
If prompted to do so, accept the new project directory
In the Build Options dialog, select Rebuild Project, Recompile All Files and Type DO Main in the VFP Command Window
and the error still occurs. As stated before the PROJMGR key does not exist.
At no point was I prompted for the location of the application data.
