>>>I've got a strange thing happening here. I've got a FPW2.6 app that I write a text file out to a directory. Once in a while, I can't write to the network directory, even though I have network access. No matter what I set my path to in my configuration, it always writes the file to the application root. It's only when I delete the directory on the network server and recreate it that I can write to it once again WITHOUT changing my configuration file.

What kind of network? If it's Novell, check and see if the directory size has been set, and if so, what size and are you hitting close to that limit?
