Mike,
Rick is almost certainly correct in my opinion. The patch by your client either didn't work or an old esl file is there as well as he said. The patch addresses speed issues, not OS problems. The 'Divide by zero' error only occurs when the patch is not done correctly in my experience. I remember there was a patch from fox 2.6 to 2.6a that had to be done first before the other patch would work. maybe this new patch has that included in it already. Once the patch is done successfully, then you get other error messages due to speed issues which can also be dealt with.
Rick says he has a fox 2.6 app running on a 2 gigahertz machine, that's a pretty good indication the speed problems can be overcome. We were told they could not be overcome and that even with the patch it would simply not work on machines over 600 mhz. In hindsight we see that was false information. There seems to be work-arounds which are not so bad for all problems relating to speed. maybe it will fail for real at 3 ghz.
